Be a part of a new and exclusive project called DOGGY DOPPELGÄNGERS.
Is your Dog a dashing Dachshund, boisterous Boxer, fabulous Frenchie or any other of the many AWESOME doggy breeds and bitzers we have here in Melbourne.
We’re launching a new project called DOGGY DOPPELGÄNGERS and on the hunt for Melbourne’s most gorgeous and lovable pooches.
Your FABULOUS furbaby will feature alongside other doggos of the same breed or similar characteristics in a one-of-a-kind “Doggy Doppelgänger” Artwork created by the International Award Winning Pet Photographer, Jo Howell.
And we need YOUR help!
We’re on the hunt for the following doggie breeds:
✔️ Bichon Frise
✔️ Dachshunds
✔️ Dalmations
✔️ French Bulldogs
✔️ Great Dane
✔️ Poodles with Pom Poms
✔️ Pugs
✔️ Schnauzers
OR any other breed in between! We would love to capture as many adorable pooches as our cameras can handle for this project.

WHAT IS A DOPPELGANGER?
A doppelgänger is a non-biologically related look-alike or double of a living thing.
We know, that even though some dogs may look the same to others, all of our loved pooches have unique characteristics, special markings and of course different personalities.
The aim of this project is to capture the similarities and differences of our pets through photography and create a unique series of images that we all can enjoy.
Limited to 12 dogs per breed ONLY.
Must be happy for us to use these photos on our website, social media and printed artwork.

Meet Your Photographer
Hi, I’m Jo! I am the owner and principle photographer at JHP Studio. I just adore photography, and have spent years capturing so many different personalities with my camera.
I am so excited to be hosting our first ever JHP Studio Christmas mini sessions.
I have 20+ years of experience working in photography and have spent the last 10 years working with people and their pets, but the fun, wiggling joy and expressions that dogs bring to the studio are my favourite.
Looking forward to sharing some laughs and taking some amazing images of you and your family!
